Applications

Circulating air and fresh air ovens from Ihne & Tesch are suitable for thermoplastic granulates, plastic and rubber molded parts, half parts for subsequent shaping as well as tools, molds, spinning pumps and nozzle packages. Since 1969, Ihne & Tesch has been developing and manufacturing industrial oven systems and preheating ovens for reproducible heating processes.

When thermoplastic granulates are preheated or dried, the flow behavior of the material improves; At the same time, plasticizing performance and product quality increase. Even non-hygroscopic plastics such as PE, PP or PS can form surface moisture if stored poorly, with high temperature differences and humidity, which can be specifically removed by pre-drying.

  • Pre-drying of thermoplastic plastic granulates
  • Removal of surface moisture from plastic granulates
  • Annealing of plastic and rubber molded parts
  • Preheating of tools, molds, spinning pumps and nozzle packs
  • Preheating of half parts for subsequent shaping
TRUS series (up to 140 °C)

Frequently asked questions

TRUS reaches up to 140 °C with thermostat control and 60 mm insulation. TRUS/T is the tempering version up to 300 °C with electronic control, 150 mm insulation and stainless steel interior. Increased heating and fan performance for optimal temperature distribution.

TRUS 15 (6 drawers, 125 kg), TRUS 30 (6 drawers, 180 kg), TRUS 60 (12 drawers, 225 kg) and TRUS 160 (24 drawers, 630 kg). All also available as a /T variant and as a /2R with double the number of drawers.

Drying of plastic granulates, tempering of plastic and rubber molded parts, preheating of tools and molds. All drawers are in the airflow for even heating.

The air flow plays a key role in temperature distribution, heating behavior and reproducibility. With TRUS/T, horizontal airflow with increased heating and fan performance ensures particularly even temperature distribution.

Even non-hygroscopic plastics such as PE, PP and PS can form surface moisture if stored poorly, with high humidity or strong temperature differences. Pre-drying removes this moisture and improves further processing.

Depending on the application, electronic temperature control, overtemperature protection, time functions, documentation, door security, emergency stop and interfaces for the customer's control are relevant. The execution is tailored to the process.

TRUS ovens are designed to be quiet. The good insulation saves energy and reduces heat radiation to the outside.

In addition to the standard models, Ihne & Tesch produces special versions according to customer requirements - with adapted dimensions, performance and features.
