Applications
In the case of shuttle kilns, it is not just the kiln body that makes a difference, but above all the loading. Carriage height, rollers, support, air flow and accessibility determine set-up time, ergonomics and process reliability. The loading trolley is tailored to the weight, geometry and material to be heated.
When a shuttle kiln makes sense
Heavy batches
When components can no longer be sensibly inserted into a chamber oven by hand.
Bulky geometries
For pipes, nozzles, castings, tools and components with large volumes.
Loading outside the oven
The trolley can be prepared, loaded and then driven cleanly into the oven.
Process reliability
The support, air flow and ventilation are designed to suit the material to be heated.
- Heating heavy steel parts (e.g. nozzles, motor housing)
