The HPS/HPZ is the most powerful cartridge heater from Ihne & Tesch. With a watt density of 30 W/cm², it delivers significantly more heat in the same installation space than the PDH/PZH (20 W/cm²). Thermocouple from Ø 6.8 mm - the smallest size in the range.

The HPS/HPZ achieves a watt density of 30 W/cm², the PDH/PZH 20 W/cm². Both work up to 750 °C with a welded base and hole tolerance H7. The HPS/HPZ is the right choice if the maximum heating output is needed in the same installation space.
HPS refers to the version in metric dimensions (mm), HPZ refers to the version in inch dimensions. The technical data are identical - the difference lies in the measurement system and the diameter tolerance (HPS: -0.02 to -0.06 mm, HPZ: ±0.02 mm).
Already from Ø 6.8 mm - the smallest dimension in the entire cartridge heater range. Available with thermocouple type L, J or K as well as Pt100 resistance sensor for direct temperature measurement at the heating point.
connection options from Type A to Type S are available for HPS/HPZ cartridge heaters. This includes contact or cable fittings, terminal boxes, screw-in nipples, fastening variants such as stop ring, PAF tab, base plate and spigot as well as integrated sensors with thermocouple types L, J, K or Pt100.
