cartridge heaters with a fit tolerance of 0.00/−0.1 mm and a welded base for higher temperatures up to 500 °C. Integrated thermocouple already from Ø 10 mm. For tool heating and wide slot nozzles.
cartridge heaters type PDE from Ihne & Tesch offer more than the PE variant a higher operating temperature of up to 500 °C and a welded base. The integrated thermocouple is available from Ø 10 mm.
PDE cartridge heaters suitable for:
The connection options are again visible on the product page. The selection depends on the temperature at the connection, cable routing, installation space, movement and type of installation.
Technical data, dimensions and instructions for use for design and construction
The PDE reaches 500 °C instead of 400 °C, has a welded base instead of rolled up and enables an integrated thermocouple from Ø 10 mm (PE only from Ø 12.7 mm). The diameter tolerance is 0.00/−0.1 mm.
The welded base makes the PDE denser and more resilient than the rolled PE version. This is crucial at higher temperatures and in applications with mechanical stress on the cartridge base.
From Ø 10 mm. For Ø 10 and Ø 12 mm only one sheath thermocouple is possible. From Ø 12.7 mm, standard thermocouples can also be integrated.
Various connection lengths and connection options are available for PDE cartridge heaters, including contact or cable fittings, terminal boxes, screw contacts and special connections depending on the installation situation. The choice depends on the temperature at the connection, cable routing, installation space, cleaning, movement and desired sensors.
Tool heating in injection moulding, wide slot dies in extrusion, screen changers, packaging machines and special machine construction. Wherever 400 °C is not enough or a welded floor is required.
