Data sheets, technical documents and downloads

Where can I find data sheets for band heaters, nozzle band heaters, cartridge heaters and temperature sensors?

The current data sheets from Ihne & Tesch are available on this page as a PDF for free download. The technical documents are sorted by product groups, including band heaters, nozzle band heaters, cartridge heaters, tubular heaters, flange heaters, cast iron heaters, temperature sensors, control devices, industrial ovens and thermal insulation pads. Designers, maintenance engineers, buyers and mechanical engineers can quickly find the right information on dimensions, performance, connection types, operating temperatures and materials.

Are Ihne & Tesch data sheets available free of charge?

Yes. All available data sheets, product information and technical PDF documents can be downloaded free of charge. Registration is not required. The files can be opened directly, saved or used for internal technical coordination, spare parts requests and project planning.

Is there a general catalog for all Ihne & Tesch products?

There is deliberately no classic general catalog because many heating elements are manufactured individually according to drawings, samples or technical specifications. Instead, we provide product-specific data sheets. These contain the most important technical data for band heaters, cartridge heaters, tubular heaters, cast iron heaters, temperature sensors and other electrical heating elements. For special solutions or specific applications, a direct one is recommended technical advice.

What technical information do the data sheets contain?

Depending on the product group, the data sheets contain information on dimensions, designs, connection types, nominal voltage, power, power density, maximum operating temperature, materials, tolerances and mounting options. When it comes to nozzle band heaters and band heaters, the diameter, width, connection position, surface load and seal are particularly relevant. When it comes to cartridge heaters, the focus is on diameter, length, power, connection type and fit. For temperature sensors you will find information on sensor type, measuring range, accuracy, response time and connection cable.

Can I request CAD data or 3D models for construction?

CAD data and 3D models are not available for public download but can be provided upon request. This is particularly useful for customer-specific band heaters, cast iron radiators, heating plates, tool heating and special heating elements. To do this, send us the product name, your drawing, the desired file type and the installation situation info@kitmail.at. Our design team works with SolidWorks 3D and can provide technical data for your design on a project-by-project basis.

Can I get data sheets for custom-made or customized heating elements?

Yes. We create technical documents for customer-specific heating elements based on your request. These include, for example, special band heaters, cast iron radiators according to drawings, cartridge heaters with special connections, tubular heating elements with individual geometry or temperature sensors for special installation situations. The more precise the information on voltage, power, temperature, installation space, medium and environment is, the more precise the technical design can be.

What data is needed for an inquiry about band heaters?

For an inquiry about band heaters or nozzle band heaters, we need the diameter, width, voltage, power, desired operating temperature, connection type, connection position and installation situation. For applications in injection molding, extrusion or hot runner technology, additional information about the machine, nozzle, cylinder zone or tool is helpful. Photos, drawings or samples make interpretation easier.

What data is required for an inquiry about cartridge heaters?

Diameter, length, voltage, power, connection type, cable length, operating temperature and fit are crucial for cartridge heaters. It is also important whether the heating cartridge is used in a tool, a mold, a nozzle, a distributor or a special machine. A fit that is too loose impairs heat transfer and can significantly shorten the service life.

What data is required for an inquiry about tubular heaters or flange heaters?

For tubular heaters and flange heaters, we need information on the medium, temperature, power, voltage, immersion depth, installation position, material, connection type and ambient conditions. For liquids, medium, flow, viscosity and possible deposits are important. For air or gases, air speed, installation space and temperature control must be taken into account.

Are the data sheets suitable for spare parts and repairs?

Yes. The data sheets help with the technical classification of spare parts and with the selection of comparable heating elements. For older machines, special versions or nameplates that are no longer clearly legible, we recommend additional photos, dimensions or a sample part. This allows you to check whether a standard product fits or a custom-made product makes more sense.

Can Ihne & Tesch help you choose the right heating element?

Yes. Our technical advice supports the selection and design of band heaters, cartridge heaters, cast iron radiators, tubular radiators, temperature sensors and complete heating solutions. Not only performance and dimensions are taken into account, but also temperature distribution, control, material, connection design, energy efficiency and service life.

Which data sheets are particularly important for plastics processing?

For injection molding, extrusion, blow molding and hot runner technology, data sheets on cylinder band heaters, nozzle band heaters, ceramic band heaters, aluminum compact band heaters, brass compact band heaters, heating-cooling combinations, cartridge heaters and temperature sensors are particularly relevant. These products are used on plasticizing cylinders, nozzles, tools, melt distributors and extrusion systems.

Which data sheets are relevant for packaging machines?

For packaging machines, data sheets on cast iron radiators, flat radiators, cartridge heaters, heating plates, tubular radiators and temperature sensors are particularly relevant. Typical applications include sealing tools, form filler closure machines, flow wrapping machines, thermoforming packaging systems and hot runner systems. For food and pharmaceutical packaging systems, IP67, ATEX versions and repair & overhaul service can also be relevant.

Can I receive technical documentation for CE, UL or ATEX versions?

Yes. Technical information on CE, UL or ATEX-relevant versions can be provided on an application-specific basis. Since approvals and versions depend on the specific product, location and market, these requirements should be stated directly in the inquiry. This is particularly true for machine exports, North American markets, hazardous areas and regulated industrial applications.

Who do I contact if I have technical questions about data sheets or downloads?
