cartridge heater on a ceramic core without a metal jacket — for air heating and installation in dip tubes. operating temperature up to 600 °C. Various diameters and lengths available.
The Type 0 cartridge heater does not require a metal jacket - the heating conductor is direct wound on a ceramic core. This makes it suitable for air heating and installation in immersion pipes where there is no direct contact with the heating medium.

Technical data, dimensions and instructions for use for design and construction
Type 0 is a cartridge heater in which the heating conductor is wound directly onto a ceramic core - without the usual stainless steel jacket. This makes it suitable for applications without direct media contact, such as air heating and dip tubes.
Whenever the cartridge heater is installed in an immersion tube or heats air - i.e. there is no direct contact with liquids or solids. For tool heating or media contact, jacket cartridge heaters (PE, PDS, PDH) are the better choice.
Up to 600 °C, depending on performance. The diameter tolerance is ±2.0 mm - significantly wider than with cartridge heaters, as no press fit is required in a hole.
Different diameters and lengths are available. The exact design depends on the installation case. Contact us with your requirements for design.
Different connection lengths and connection options are also possible for type 0 cartridge heaters. The design is selected depending on the installation space, temperature at the connection, cable routing and desired installation. If necessary, we check special connections according to drawings, samples or installation situations.
