Compact aluminium, mica, ceramic and mica-insulated band heaters
The M/MC mica band heater from Ihne & Tesch is a robust barrel heater for operating temperatures up to 350 °C. It is used on injection moulding machines and extruders, particularly where high mechanical strength and a long service life are required.
M/MC mica band heaters from Ihne & Tesch are suitable for virtually all common injection moulding machines and extrusion lines, including Arburg Allrounder, Engel, Krauss-Maffei, Sumitomo Demag, Wittmann Battenfeld, Netstal, Fanuc, Ferromatik Milacron, Husky, Toshiba, Boy and Haitian.
The mica insulation of the M/MC heater provides high mechanical strength and durability. By contrast, the ZAK compact aluminium band heater has an enclosed, melt-tight construction, a higher operating temperature of up to 450 °C and more uniform temperature distribution.
M/MC band heaters from Ihne & Tesch are made to measure. Options include alternative voltages, holes, temperature-sensor holders, cut-outs, custom clamping gaps and segmented designs. Manufacture to a drawing, sketch or sample is also possible.
