Air-cooled Ihne & Tesch cast-in combinations are used when cooling fins provide sufficient cooling for the extrusion zone. Liquid cooling with water or heat-transfer oil is appropriate where greater cooling capacity or shorter cooling times are required.
Ihne & Tesch cast-in heating and cooling combinations are available with fin spacings of 10, 12 or 15 mm and fin heights of 15, 20 or 30 mm. Selection depends on the required cooling capacity and available installation space.
Ihne & Tesch cast-in heating and cooling combinations are available in ATEX-certified explosion-protected versions for hazardous areas. Protection ratings up to IP67 are possible, depending on the design.
Ihne & Tesch cast-in heating and cooling combinations are available in diameters from 30 to 600 mm. Lengths and segment lengths start at 50 mm. Aluminium and brass versions are manufactured in our own foundry.
