RPI tubular cartridge heaters are particularly suitable for restricted installation spaces and provide ideal heating for plastic injection moulding tools, socket machines, mandrels in pipe extrusion, hot-runner systems and machine nozzles.
Ihne & Tesch RPI tubular cartridge heaters are designed for restricted installation spaces. Typical applications include plastic injection moulding tools, socket machines and mandrel heating in pipe extrusion.
RPI tubular cartridge heaters for all common injection moulding machines and special systems:
Data sheet and technical documentation for the RPI tubular cartridge heater
The Ihne & Tesch RPI is a compact electric heater developed specifically for restricted installation spaces. It is primarily used for tool heating in plastic injection moulding, socket machines and mandrel heating in pipe extrusion. Further applications include hot-runner systems and machine nozzles.
The Ihne & Tesch RPI is designed for operating temperatures up to 450 °C. A maximum watt density of 6 W/cm² and 3 mm wall thickness combine high output with compact dimensions for demanding injection moulding and extrusion applications.
Ihne & Tesch supplies RPI tubular cartridge heaters in various diameters and lengths, with different voltages, outputs, connection lengths and types, output tolerances, installation and removal aids, terminal pins, flat end faces, distributed output and connection cables with various plugs.
Ihne & Tesch RPI tubular cartridge heaters suit all common injection moulding machines, including Arburg, Engel, Krauss-Maffei, Sumitomo Demag, Husky, Wittmann Battenfeld, Ferromatik and Netstal. They are also used in hot-runner systems, pipe extrusion, socket machines and special tools.
With a wall thickness of just 3 mm, the Ihne & Tesch RPI is especially compact. Its slim construction fits tool bores with tight clearances typically found in injection moulding tools, hot-runner systems and nozzle bodies. Despite its small dimensions, a watt density of 6 W/cm² provides fast, reliable heating.
