Melt-tight and precisely contoured for injection nozzles and hot-runner tools: DAK and DMK compact aluminium and brass nozzle band heaters provide excellent process stability, even with frequent tool changes.
DAK/DMK compact aluminium and brass nozzle band heaters are used on injection nozzles and hot-runner tools in all common injection moulding machines.
DAK/DMK nozzle band heaters are suitable for virtually all common injection moulding machines:

Data sheets for DAK, DMK and other nozzle band heaters
DAK/DMK nozzle band heaters from Ihne & Tesch are compact aluminium (DAK) or brass (DMK) heaters for injection nozzles and hot-runner tools. Their enclosed, melt-tight construction provides uniform contact with the nozzle and precise heat transfer.
DAK nozzle band heaters from Ihne & Tesch have a compact aluminium construction and operate at temperatures up to 450 °C. DMK heaters are made from brass and offer greater thermal stability at temperatures up to 550 °C, making them suitable for high-temperature applications, PTFE and PEEK processing and demanding hot-runner tools.
DAK/DMK nozzle band heaters from Ihne & Tesch are manufactured in various dimensions and connection versions. Options include alternative voltages and outputs, holes and cut-outs, integrated thermocouples with or without electrical isolation, and flat caps with wedge locks. Every heater is made to the customer’s dimensions.
Custom DAK/DMK nozzle band heaters are normally manufactured and supplied by Ihne & Tesch within 2–3 weeks. They are produced in-house to the customer’s dimensions.
DAK/DMK nozzle band heaters from Ihne & Tesch suit injection nozzles and hot-runner tools on all common injection moulding machines, including Arburg, Engel, Krauss-Maffei, Sumitomo Demag and Wittmann Battenfeld. Their melt-tight construction is particularly suitable for processing PTFE and PEEK.
DAK/DMK nozzle band heaters from Ihne & Tesch can be supplied as UL-recognised versions on request, often for injection moulding machines intended for export to North America.
