Precision temperature control with automatic tuning, a start-up circuit and output takeover in the event of sensor failure. MCT 1-E is the entry-level single-channel model; multi-channel units for several heating zones are part of our standard manufacturing range.
The Ihne & Tesch MCT provides precision temperature control through automatic tuning of the control parameters. MCT 1-E is the entry-level single-channel version. We also manufacture purpose-designed multi-channel units for tools and systems with several heating zones.
MCT control units for common industrial heating applications:
Technical data for design and specification
The MCT automatically adopts the last stable controller output. Production can continue until the sensor is replaced, while a collective alarm indicates the fault.
The MCT supports type L, J and K thermocouples as well as Pt100 resistance sensors. The sensor type is selected on the integrated KS 50-1 controller.
The start-up circuit limits heating output during warm-up. Start-up temperature, controller output and holding time are adjustable, protecting temperature-sensitive materials from overheating.
Yes. Integrated heater current monitoring detects interruptions and heating-element faults. The threshold can be set between 0 and 16 A, and deviations trigger the collective alarm.
Yes. MCT 1-E is the entry-level single-channel unit. Ihne & Tesch also manufactures multi-channel control units for several heating zones with 230/400 V supply voltage.
